Spoil Your Mom (Or Yourself—I Won’t Judge 🙃)
My special Mother's Day gift guides for all the moms in your life!
Mother’s Day is right around the corner and I know this holiday can be difficult for some of you; if it is, please know that you are loved and supported. This is my first Mother’s Day as a single mom and it happens to fall on my ex’s day. While I might not be getting breakfast in bed, it’s fine I don’t want crumbs of food where I sleep 😜! So we are going to dinner instead, at my favorite spot, Little Original Joe’s!
But I digress. Let’s chat gifts. I’ve never been a big gift giver on Mother’s Day because the day is more about spending quality time than gift opening. However, there’s also room for both—a small token of appreciation and gratitude can go a long way!
To help you out, I put together a little curated list of my favorite things—the things that I personally use and love or would love to receive myself. Consider it a starting point for finding something meaningful for your mom—or a reminder to treat yourself, too. You deserve it!
Kitchen Gifts:
The ReBoard - I have this cutting board in multiple colors because it’s just that good. It’s super versatile and perfect for everything from chopping veggies to serving snacks! Use my code KALEJUNKIEMATERIAL for 20% off!
Wall Art - I love a good kitchen wall art moment! This print from Etsy is one of my favorites. You can purchase it as a digital download and then print and frame it in any size you’d like. So easy and so cute!
Scrub Brushes - If you’re investing in nice pans, you need something just as good to clean them with! I grabbed this set for under $15 last year, and they’ve totally held up!
Beast Blender - The Beast Blender is hands-down one of my most-used kitchen items. It blends like a dream and looks pretty on the counter too—such a fabulous gift for any mom (or yourself!).
Kitchen Towels - Finally, some kitchen towels that are ACTUALLY absorbent! These are from a new brand I recently discovered & think they would make the perfect gift!
Pots & Pans Set - This Caraway set is so worth the investment. Nonstick, non-toxic, and built to last—truly the only set of pots and pans you’ll ever need.
Spoon Rest - I’m a big fan of a good spoon rest—it’s one of those little kitchen things you don’t think you need… until you have one. Then you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it!
Standing Whisk - A standing whisk is a total game changer—it frees up your hands (and countertop), making prep so much easier and less messy!
Love To Eat Cookbook - The Love To Eat cookbook makes the perfect gift (if I do say so myself 😉). With over 75 healthy and delicious recipes, my cookbook is not only a kitchen must-have but also looks gorgeous displayed on your counter!
Robe - There’s nothing better than slipping into a cozy robe after a long day. I have this one from Parachute and love it—it’s soft, comfy, and perfectly lightweight!
Le Labo Candle -The Le Labo candle is one of those gifts you can’t go wrong with—I’ve both gifted it and received it, and it truly smells that good every time!
Lola Blanket - Trust me—this is the blanket. It’s seriously the softest, coziest thing ever, and once you have it, no other blanket will compare!
Silk Eye Mask - A silk eye mask is such a luxurious upgrade from the usual sleep mask—I swear by my Lunya ones! They're super soft, washable, and even my boys wanted their own. Perfect for everyday use and travel! Use my code kalejunkie for 15% off!
Table Tray - If you know a mom who loves a good breakfast in bed, this one’s for her! This table tray is also perfect for journaling, reading, or even setting up your laptop for a cozy work-from-bed moment.
Wine Box - If you love a good happy hour, this wine box is perfect—equal to two bottles and so great for gifting or hosting! Use code Nicole20 for 20% off!
Body Moisturizer - I’m obsessed with all things Kate McLeod, but if you’re new to the brand or looking to gift something special, The Daily Stone is the perfect place to start—so nourishing and luxe!
Face Oil - This is hands-down my favorite face oil in the world—and I’ve tried a lot. It’s definitely an investment, but the glow and skin benefits are unmatched. Use my code KALEJUNKIE20 for 20% off!
THE GREAT Crewneck - I’m a big fan of a cozy crewneck, and this one from THE GREAT is a forever favorite. I own it in multiple colors and always look forward to their Mother’s Day collection drop—it never disappoints!
Mejuri Earrings - I own these Mejuri earrings and find myself reaching for them constantly. They’re so stunning, lightweight, and go with everything!
Belt - A good belt totally completes an outfit! I have both the KHAITE one and this Amazon version! The Amazon one holds up so well for under $15. Major win!
Mama Bracelet - If you're looking for a subtle 'mom' gift, a timeless piece of jewelry is always a good idea. This bracelet is simple, sweet, and perfect for stacking with your everyday pieces!
Sunglasses - I bought these Saint Laurent sunglasses last year and they’ve quickly become one of the only pairs I ever wear! They’re definitely an investment, but if your mom’s in the market for that perfect forever pair—these are it.
Bag - As a mom, I totally get the struggle of finding that perfect everyday bag—something roomy enough for all the essentials but still chic and not bulky. This one checks all the boxes and is such a timeless staple!
Card Holder - A card holder is one of those underrated essentials that once you have, you’ll wonder how you lived without it. This leather one is minimal, chic, and makes the perfect little luxe gift!
Sneakers - If you have an active mom or just a mom who wants cute, comfy sneakers for everyday life—these are such a good pick! I have several pairs from APL, but this style is one of my all-time favorites for both workouts and errands.
