Every summer I let my boys pick our vacation destination. Last year it was Japan, and this year they decided on London. This time around, I skipped the traditional travel agent and used Byline instead. As someone who gets completely overwhelmed by the planning part, it was SUCH a good decision. A friend recommended it to me, and I’m SO glad she did.
Byline is a trip-planning platform that keeps your entire itinerary in one place and helps with recommendations and logistics along the way. I put in our dates, our budget, our restaurant preferences, and the kinds of experiences we wanted, and from there we built out all 8 days together, including restaurants, activities, tickets, and experiences.
I loved having everything organized in one spot. We also had a personal concierge join us for a few of the experiences, which meant extra help with the kids and a little alone time for me.
I have a complete itinerary and a full photo album from the trip, including where we stayed, where we ate, what we did, what was actually worth it, and everything I’d do again. Click below for the whole thing.

I loved this so much that I already know I’ll use Byline again for wherever the boys pick next summer.
Where are you headed to next? Have you ever been to London?
