One of the most common questions I receive from you all is how I transformed my body this past year—At 44 I am visibly more toned and lean and I feel stronger, happier and more energetic than I ever have. But, as someone with a past eating disorder, getting both positive and negative attention to my body can be triggering, so for the most part I’ve shied away from discussing this more openly on social media. So I’ve decided to approach this conversation from a health perspective, because at the end of the day, I attribute these changes to two lifestyle changes—the byproduct of which has given me a stronger body that I am proud of.
